AG-2022-Brenda-Ralston

Dr. Brenda Ralston, a Lakeland College livestock research scientist, is the recipient of Alberta Farm Animal Care (AFAC) 2022 Award of Distinction.

Lakeland launched a re-imagined agribusiness program. The redesigned program offers students a choice of five streams: production, marketing, agri-food and tourism, sustainability or finance.

Interior design technology student John Cruz's Cutting Room design was chosen after a public vote.

Women's basketball goes for redemption

After the team won gold in the ACAC championship in 2020, only to have nationals cancelled, the Women's Basketball Team won ACAC gold once again this year and travel to Nanaimo, B.C., for nationals this weekend.

  • Jenay Varga, women’s volleyball,  ACAC North Player of the Year, was named an All-Canadian
  • Tori Dugan, women’s basketball, was selected as the ACAC North Player of the Year
  • Taylor Dyer was selected as the ACAC North Men’s Volleyball Coach of the Year
  • Chris King was selected as the ACAC North Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year
