Lakeland's environmental sciences program is expanding with a new major, renewable resource reclamation. The program integrates aspects of both environmental sciences and renewable energy. Intake begins fall 2023.

Synergy Credit Union has contributed $150,000 to the rejuvenation of the WHT Mead Building at Lakeland's Vermilion campus.

Open House 2022

On Oct. 22-23, both Lakeland campuses opened their doors for Open House. At the event, 548 students applied for Lakeland programs! Watch our video recap.

Lakeland's new agri sales and customer relations certificate program is designed to address challenges in the agriculture labour market.

Beyond the classroom

Students in the crop unit of the Student-Managed Farm - Powered by New Holland celebrated the end of a harvest, made even more successful by technology. Read about harvest or watch the video (or both)!

Educational assistant student Isaac Foncha came to Lakeland after teaching in Thailand, determined to learn how to keep struggling students from falling behind.

Jon Albert, Class of 2016, has returned to Lakeland to continue is journey towards becoming a power engineer.

Rustlers recap

Rustlers start season at the top of the national rankings.

After a two-year wait, the Lakeland Kings Energy Group Rustlers Women's hockey team competed in their first ACAC regular season hockey game. Until this year, the new team competed in a different league.

As of Oct. 25, the Rustlers Women's basketball team sits in the #1 spot of the CCAA national rankings. The Rustlers Men's team sits in the #2 spot.
