New transfer agreements mean graduates of Lakeland's educational assistant and early childhood education programs can transfer their credits to the University of Regina's bachelor of education program.

Bill Robinson, Class of 1958, donated $1 million to Lakeland's college farm and student bursaries.

"The college has been a big part of our family for years,” says Robinson. “I hope that this gift will help the college continue to grow, while also providing financial support to the students who need it most so they can attend the college and get a great education.” - Bill Robinson

Alumni spotlight

Kreg and Lee-Anne Alde met while studying at Lakeland in the 90s. Now, they're building an agritourism destination at the family homestead in northern Alberta: Broken Tine Orchard.

Class of 2016 interior design technology alumni Sydney Melnyk and Brittany McQueen met at Lakeland, became great friends, won first and second place in that year's National Kitchen and Bath Association's (NKBA) student design contest, and now they've been named to the NKBA's Top 30 Under 30.
